This page will help you get started with BaaSiC API.
Overview
In this API reference, you will find all available endpoints for integration, the various flows, and detailed information about each endpoint.
The structure of this API reference is straightforward. It is organized by subject, and each main page includes an overview of the section and a glossary of terms used within that section. It is highly recommended to read the section page before beginning to review the endpoints.
Integration Path
Pre-Integration (Documentation Onboarding)
When a potential partner expresses interest in integrating with the BaaSiC API, the initial step is to reach out via email at [insert email]. Upon receiving the message, an integration manager will promptly contact the partner to schedule a meeting. This meeting will aim to align the partner’s requirements with our capabilities and provide an overview of the API usage and dashboard functionalities.
Once the alignment is completed and the partner confirms their intent to integrate, the documentation onboarding process will commence. During this phase, we will request the necessary documents required for the pre-integration process and also provide integration guides to assist the partner in planning the integration.
At this point, access to the staging environment will be granted, along with credentials for the partner to begin exploring our sandbox environment.
Integration Start (Kick-off)
After validating all documentation, we will proceed with the integration process. Initially, we will establish a direct connection between the partner's development team and our own, including the previously assigned integration manager.
We will introduce the relevant terms and components of the integration, highlighting those that best meet the partner’s needs. Additionally, we will showcase key functionalities of our dashboard that complement the API.
Partner Implementation
At this stage, the partner begins creating and testing in our staging environment. Our development team will be available to provide ongoing support, addressing any issues or questions that may arise.
We emphasize that clear and open communication is essential for a successful integration. We welcome feedback and suggestions throughout this process.
Production Phase(Post-Integration)
Once the partner has completed testing and feels confident in moving to the production environment, we will manage the transition by providing production credentials and ensuring all processes are in place.
To ensure a smooth launch, the transition to production must be communicated to our team, allowing us to offer comprehensive support and facilitate the release of production credentials.
Post-launch, we continue to provide full support through periodic check-ins and offer multiple support channels for technical inquiries, ticketing, and any other concerns.
Finally, we have a dashboard to monitor the integration’s performance, enabling the detection of potential issues and identifying areas for optimization, ensuring continuous improvements for both parties.
Environments
We have two environments: the staging environment, which we use for testing new features and integrating with partners, and the production environment. Each environment has a different base URL, which are as follows:
https://staging-openbanking.bit.one
https://openbanking.bit.one/
Getting the credentials
To obtain credentials, partners must contact our support team via the following email address: [email protected] Upon request, the support team will provide the necessary credentials.
